1.7 Comments notification broken

Hello again,

I've read the thread Comments notification (http://www.pixelpost.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7201), determined that I have received comments, email address is properly typed in the Admin interface, comments are set to "Publish Instantly," and I've contacted my webhost to make sure there was no problem with the PHP mail() function configuration.

The support at my webhost suggested I post here because he's looked everywhere and can't find any configuration problems.

Please give me some tips about what I can check. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. Comments work on my other photoblog (pixelpost 1.5) installation. They only stopped working after I updated to version 1.7 yesterday.

Nope, I didn't get a comment notification, but I do see your comment there. The webhost support wrote the following to me, if it's of any help: "
There are no logs in Apache and also no transaction in Exim email server logs"

I don't know what this means (other than that mail isn't working for my pixelpost 1.7), and I don't know what your last post means either. In other words, I'm very confused.

Dennis just got some info from me via pm... I'm hoping he can help.

Code now is somehow fixed so in Final it should be fine.
