too strong spam control

Hey guys a small concern i wanted to share.
Sometimes i like replaying to comments right on the comment form to my visitors and i have done so with no problems.. since i upgraded to 1.7 the spam control is much tougher and i wont let me post my own comments when i use my amin@amintorres.com email address and it even has blocked me when i use my gmail as well.

am a bit concern that some actual commenter are being block as well.
any thoughts on this?

That is the email check probably. It is mandatory, so skip that field.

what do you mean exactly?
I did try to post a reply both with and without email address and i got the error message.

Also, Since comments do can go through without inserting an email address, is there a way i can set things so that is mandatory to provide an actual email address to post a comment. I have had some malicious people use fake names and leave comments with no email address...

Please post the error numbers you get. I assumed you were having problems with your mailaddress.
