Best way to fight SPAM

Im new in pixelpost and im already having trouble with spam.
Can u please tell me wich is the best way to fight this kind of spam?

On addons i have:

Pixelpost Akismet comment filter (admin_akismet_comment - version 1.3) - status: ON

But i dont have any API key and i dont use Wordpress.com.

Sign up for an account on wordpress.com and get an API key. Even if you don't use any of their other features, giving them an email address in exchange for using their spam catching service is a great trade.

You can also try the defensio addon, (http://defensio.com)

Or set the token, url protection as well, or use both of them

Akismet is not the only kid on the block and certainly not one of the best. You can also check out the captcha addon (see extend, search for spam).

You can also search for antispam template, as Ive made such. Its based on JS but works pretty cool and gives pretty good results.
