Problems regenerating thumbnails

Sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything on the forums. I resized my thumbnails but not all of them changed. I downloaded the thumbnail regenerator addon hoping I could correct the few that didn't convert. It didn't work. I tried changing a few random thumbnails using the addon and that worked fine, but the few that I need to change, won't budge. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a way for me to manually correct them?

Now that I think about it... you might want to make sure the permissions are set right for those thumbnails. (by using an FTP app)

You can also try renaming the thumbnail images to something else, such as thumb_filename_backup.jpg

Then you can try regenerating the thumbnails again.
