1.3 Install Issues

I've tried to install 1.4 but have many headaches so I went for 1.3 and got this error:

Error: Access denied for user: 'drawingonthepr@localhost' to database 'pixelhost'

Please provide guidance on how to fix.

where did you find version 1.4?! we did not publish it yet :shock:
there is a beta version of 1.4 that all problems are discussed in a closed forum. you can read it there. The offcial bug fixed version 1.4 is about to appear in one or two days. (maybe today!)

about the error you faced. check the admin/pixelpost.php file you edited. there should be some wrong information. make sure that you entered correct username and password fo the database and the choosed correct db-prefix. Also make sure that you have a database user 'drawingonthepr'
Usually database users are like this:
yourdomainname_your-selected-word-for-username

( yourdomainname_* )

[Joe[y]]

same goes for database name as well. domain name usually comes first
