Bonsoir,
Les addons n'apparaissent pas dans ma console d'administration alors qu'ils sont bien dans mon dossiers addons ?
De plus, comment faire pour que les images soient dimensionnées à la taille de l'écran automatiquement au départ comme c'est la cas pour les sites en exemple ?

UP! Moi aussi j'ai ce même problème. je vois Addons dans ma console mais il n'y a rien dedans alors que j'ai installé des addons. Merci!

I have removed Akismet but nothing changes.
J'ai supprimé Akismet (et gardé Defension) mais rien ne change.

Il serait bon de mentionner la version de pp que vous utilisé, et aussi si c'est une nouvelle installation, la reprendre et voir la différence.

Je suis chez Free et j'ai le meme problème, les Addons n'apparaisssent pas.
J'ai fait ce que tu proposes et les 3 erreurs qui apparaissent sont les suivantes:
En haut de l'écran 2 erreurs:
"Warning: mysql-fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /mnt/149/sda/6/c/pierre.gelyfort/Photoblog_pgf/includes/functions.php on line 629"

J'avais bien lu et bien fait ce que recommande le fichier Upgrade Doc. que l'on trouve dans le répertoire "documention" de la version 1.7.1.
Mais les addons n'apparaissent toujours pas :-)

Oui, j'ai supprimé askimet et malheureusement ça ne marche toujours pas :-(
J'ai fait les &errors et je n'ai que les 3 warning que je t'ai décris ici le 20 février dernier.
Je ne sais plus quoi faire !

Sorry I am a little bit confused now by all the people in this thread and my French is not so good anyway.
Pierre, you have to remove the 2 Akismet files which are directly in the Addon directory from v1.6. Then upload either _akismet folder OR _defensio folder into your Addon directory.
If it still doesn't work, remove ALL Addons from the Addons folder and check the Addons page if there are any errors now. Of course it should be empty now, but the Menu bar should be ok.
If everything looks fine now, go and upload the Addons one after the other, checking the Addons page after each Addon. So you should find out which Addon doesn't work in your blog.
If nothing helps, please post your problem in the 1.7 help forum (in English) since there are a lot of people who could help you with that but never look into the French forum

I have done what you said: I have removed ALL Addons and files in Addons folder in order to have the folder empty....and it doesn't work.
Then I have checked the Adddons page ans I have got the same 3 warnings:

I have like before the same screen when i push ADDONS on the menu: under the menu a empty screen with on right "ADDONS INSTALLES".

Yes, i have moved only one file in the addons directory once with index.html file & once without index file: but i had the same screen (it's looks like no Addons installed).
I have moved one of these 5 files below, one after one:
admin_update_exif.php
current_datetime.php
copy_folder.php
calendar.php
paged_archive.php
I have controled the first one: it does't work, then I have it canceled, and so on with the next one: same screen unfortunetly :-(
Sorry to give you again the same problem.
Maybe would you like to go directly to my server ?

J'ai tout écrasé ....... et j'ai le même PB:
Toujours pas de ADDONS
(et j'avais oublié de dire pas de seconde langue qui apparaît alors que je peux saisir le texte sur chaque photo)
avec le même écran vide
(juste le titre en haut à droite: ADDONS INSTALLES)
lorsque je clique sur ADDONS du menu principal.
Je suis désespéré alors que le reste marche très bien.

I have taked a look of the dwilkindjr answer to newandtrying :"His MYSQL database was rejecting the "SHOW TABLE STATUS" command located within the includes/functions.php", do you think the pb is an MYSQL pb ? I did't see the solution Dave had giving to newand trying.

J'ai installé pixelpost sur un autre serveur (vierge). Ca donne la même chose. Rien dans addons. Est-ce qu'il peut avoir un problème avec le PHP? Mon register_globals n'est pas activé comme dans ce cas => http://www.pixelpost.org/docs/uploads/GettingStarted/step3.gif

Salut à tous, j'ai exactement le meme probleme que vous, la partie Addon de ma console Admin reste totalement vide...
Pixelpost 1.7.1, Hébergé chez Free, Première install, avec en bonus pour etre gentil avec lui: tartine de miel et bol de banania (mdr, çà me rappel ma jeunesse :) )
J'ai essayer pas mal de chose, (j'avais déja posté dans la partie générale du forum) enlever tout les addons, les remettres un par un, supprimer totalement Pixelpost, et refait une install à partir d'un autre fichier zip....
Au final çà ne marche toujours pas et sa continu de bien me stresser.^^
Je suis aussi chez Free et tout le probleme dois venir de là, çà serait bien que les gens qui non pas de probleme avec leur partie Addon et qui sont chez free viennent nous donner un petit coup de main. ;) (Thanks dudes!!)

As for newandtrying, he uses the free.fr hosting provider which I've decided not to support. There has been many issues with Pixelpost users with this hosting provider and this is due to the limitations they impose on there free hosting accounts. One such example is not allowing the CHMOD command. Files and folders are stuck with 0700 file permissions.

J'ai une solution qui marche chez moi (trouvé sur le forum virusphoto.com). En fait le problème vient d'une erreur dans le nom de la base de données.
Il faut aller dans "include/pixelpost.php" à ce niveau:
$pixelpost_db_host = "sql.free.fr"; // database host, often "localhost"
$pixelpost_db_user = "mon.site.photo"; // database user
$pixelpost_db_pass = "mot de passe"; // database user password
$pixelpost_db_pixelpost = "mon.site.photo"; // database <----------- modifier les points en underscore
mon.site.photo devient alors mon_site_photo et normalement tout devrait rentrer dans l'ordre

J'ai le même souci, pas d'addons dans la console d'administration alors que j'ai bien mes fichiers dans le dossier Addons. J'ai vérifié dans le fichier pixelpost.php mais je ne peux pas remplacer les "." par des underscores car j'ai qu'un mot.
Y-a-t-il une solution ?

J'ai résolu le problème il y a quelques temps, mais je ne me souviens plus comment. J'ai trouvé la soluce sur le net. Alors bon courage, elle n'est pas loin.

It comes from my hosting provider, I only have these rights : 700 and I tested it on an other hosting provider with 755 and it works perfectly.
I can't do anything in that case ?
Salut alors pour ma part j'ai aussi se problème , je suis chez free et installer et désinstaller je ne c'est combien de fois pixelpost en testant toute les versions et rien toujours pareil pas d'ADDON .
se qui est bizarre c'est que ya longtemps les addons marcher . mais par la suite j'ai du désinstaller pixelpost .
jai toute tester toute les solutions que j'ai pu trouver sur le net mais rien sa ne marche pas .
Bref tout sa pour dire que la partie ADDON bin je m'en passe tres bien ;) , je n'est pas de commentaire douteux bref on s'en passe des addons ( enfin pour moi )
