I'm looking for a little feedback on my new template design. I started with the EarthSky Template (http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/templates/earthsky-template/) and modified it to get the look I wanted. Please take a look and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement.

Simply and smart.
Just the tiny thumbs disturb my eyes from the pictures :
May be reduce the opacity ? and increase to 100% when mousehover ?
Info and Comments links are the same ?
The previous and next icon aren't at an optimised place for me : Why put them in the middle of the row ?

Thanks for the feedback; it really helps.

Good idea. I had tried making them black and white, but they were more distracting to me that way. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Yeah, I need to make a decision about that.

No good reason, really. I'll have to find a better place for them. Any suggestions.

I'll see your arrow modifications.
Not better AMHA ;)
Have you try simply under the pictures or, in the middle of the row (between your logo site and the rights row (not very clear I suppose)
Just some point :
- You're site logo is not symetric with the picture and the tools row.
- You post some "huge" pictures, I'm not fan of scrolling to see the pictures entirely ;) (I'm in a 17' screen)

Yeah, I'm still not happy with the arrows. I've played with them between the main image and the thumbnail row, but wasn't happy with them their either. I may try them in the middle of the row. I'll keep tinkering with it.
Can you be more specific about what you mean about the logo not being symmetric? Do you mean it wider than the row of icons?

Yeah it's maybe due to the wider logo wider than the row.
After:
Do you really need some arrow ?
When you click on the picture you have the older and the logo => Home.
After you can browse the archive.
It's just an idea ;)
Or if you want, try to modify you code to have the same effect of the delicious template ;)

I'm having issues with your navigation in Safari 2 - they don't seem to be registering as links and so when you click on them nothing happens.

The only thing that might have caused that was there was an ampersand in one of the icon titles. I've changed that to a character escape, so the html validates. Can you tell me if that fixed it? (I don't have a mac to test it).
