Hey ya!
I've got a little problem that makes pixelpost unusable for me. I can't upload anything. Whenever I try there's that strange little "Error" message. I've read about it in the forum. Someone said I have to change some strings to make pixelpost tell me more about the error. I did, but still have the same Problem. "Error".
Maybe someone can help me.
Greetings,
Rob

which version of Pixelpost do you use?
Could you post the content of the General Info page please? (not the translators but the upper part)

/edit: I've just reinstalled it and now I have the same problem but another error; it tells me that the image folder is not writeable. this is kind of sick! I set it to 777 and when I try to upload an image I get that error, and then, like ... half an hour later it's set back to 755. But the admin panel still tells me it would be 777...

Go into your options, look for the setting of the images folder.
Replace this setting with:
../images/

Thanks!
I think that worked. You solved the "Imagefolder unwriteable Error" - now I get the blank 'Error' message again when uploading something...

your GD-library should be compiled with jpg support, the line should read:
GD-lib (compiled with JPG-support)
Please ask your hoster for doing that
But no JPG support shouldnt stop upload process. It only doesnt give thumbnails.

There are addons that came default with your Pixelpost install. Dennis is asking you to go to your Addons page and disable all of the ones listed there.

Alright sorry!
I've done that now, sadly it didn't change anything.

Is the folder set to chmod 777? I cannot believe it only gives back an error and no description.
Can you give some information about the size of the image? (disksize)
