Hi all!,
I usually upload several pictures at a time, having most of them post in the future. However, I am unable to preview them. I get this error message when I try to do so:

Coming Soon! Nothing to show. No image to show here!

I have asked pixelpost to "Log me on automatically each visit:"

The following link describes the condition: http://wiki.pixelpost.org/index.php?title=Coming_Soon!_Nothing_to_show._No_i mage_to_show_here!
It reads as follows:

"This message is shown when you call index.php in your browser, but there is no image uploaded to Pixelpost already.

Another reason might be that there are images uploaded already, but they are set to be posted on a future date."

My question is, should this condition still hold true even if I am logged on as admin? Any ideas? Thanks. I asked this once before, but got no resolution. It was just before the v. 1.6 upgrade. I still have this issue.

if you leave the admin panel in Pixelpost and go to another site, (without logging out), when you return, are you automatically logged back in, or do you have to re-enter your username/password?

Currently, when I leave the admin page (without logging out) and return, I am still logged in and I don't have to re-enter my password.

However, I must say that a few months ago, I used to enter the password every single time I visited the admin page and still had the same result whenever I set images to post at a future date.

So, again, for me, the "Preview" button has pretty much been useless as long as I set images to post at a future date.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone else have similar experiences?

Do you have some restrictions set on Cookies?
Can you reproduce this issue with another browser or from another PC?

Definitely sounds like a cookie issue to me.
It could be caused by an overzealous internet protection app, or by the web browser's security settings being set too high.

Yes, as austriaka mentioned, try using another browser to see if you experience the same problem. I'd recommend trying either Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) or Opera (http://www.opera.com/download/). (both are free)

Hi all. Thanks for your responses.

I've tried to preview images set to post at a future date on both Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 on my computer. I have also just tried this on a Firefox on friend's Linux machine. I got the same result. As opposed to being a cookie issue, could this be a database issue?

I am currently using Delicious 1.1 and my photoblog can be seen here:

Hope something here helps.

Please check if you have set the local timezone correct in Admin Options.
If yes, please find out where the server of your ISP is located and if this is the same timezone then yours.
There might be problems if the local timezone of your server is different from your local PC's but usually not produced by Pixelpost but by a third party Addon which does not use Pixelposts built-in timezone correction

So try to turn off all Addons which did not come with the original pixelpost installation. If it is not working then, delete them from your server (make a local copy of them first).
If it is working correct now, you can turn them on (or upload them) one by one and see which one is the baddie. Look out if there is an update for it, if not, ask the Author about your problems

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I can confirm that my local timezone is correctly set. Additionally, I do not have any addons that do not come right out of the box (from an original pixelpost installation). I have also confirmed that the problem is not template specific. I have reverted to a number of other pixelpost templates and have had the same result.

Let me ask ... is anyone able to produce the same condition? That is ... when you set images to post at a specific time (set in the future), you are unable to preview the image successfully by clicking on "preview" (under "Images" ) in the admin panel.

Any input/assistance would help.

Now, here's a bit more detail:
So, while logged on, if I go to my photoblog (in another window/tab), I am able to see the last image that I uploaded (i.e. the image scheduled to post last) regardless of post date. So, for example, as today is the 25th, say that I set images to post (right, right now) on the 25th and then on the following future dates: 26th, 27th and 28th. When logged on to the admin panel, if I accessed my photoblog, I would be able to see the image scheduled to post on the 28th. It shows up as the main page. However, when I click on "previous", (to see, the images scheduled to post on the 27th and 26th - in that order) I get the message "Coming Soon! Nothing to show. No image to show here!". The next image that I would be able to see would be the image posted on the 25th (i.e. the one that was NOT scheduled to post in the future a.k.a the image the rest of the world sees, by virtue of not being logged on as me). By the way, I can only get to this image, through some back door way, such as going through my "archives" page or something.

Now, if I clicked on preview ("under images") in the admin panel, on ANY image scheduled to post on any future date, I get the error message "Coming Soon! Nothing to show. No image to show here!" in another window (or tab). So, in the above example, this would happen for images scheduled to post on the 26th, 27th and 28th.

I find this peculiar, especially since I am able to see the image on the 28th when logged on to the admin page, but only by accessing my photoblog directly. However, I am unable to see it when I try to "preview" the image.

In the end, as long as I am logged on to the admin page, I would like to be able to see all images posted or scheduled to post on my photoblog when I try and preview them. That is "normal" operation, right? Is anyone else having this problem, or able to replicate my problem?

Thanks for all your help!
