Background color on flash slideshow

I am trying to setup my pixelpost installation with the flash slideshow (v1.1) and pixelpost 1.7 rc. It seems that changing the background color has not effect. The pictures are always displayed on black background, no matter what I set as background color.

What am I doing wrong? I would like to set white color for the light style.
