Metatags for google and yahoo robots

Hello to all of you !
I have recently set-up my PP galerie online. The problem is that robots (google, yahoo) still have indexed the old meta keywords (from a former wordpress blog hosted on the same server)...I have checked out the logs, robots have however indexed the new pages.
Is there a way to correct this, as some visitors do come from a research, but will not get what they are looking for...

Search engines normally take some time before they reassign keywords to your site.

Also, most search engines normally treat meta keywords rather low.
The most important way to make sure specific words are assigned to your site is to simply have those words in the site itself. Also, getting other people to link to your site is another important way to help assign keywords. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_bomb
