Vers 1.4 - Switching Domains?

Hey All

I've searched thru archives for an answer but couldn't really see anything similar to my situation.

I have had PP (1.4) currently running for a few years now with hundreds of images. I need to change to a different domain.. but this new domain is also hosted by my current Hosting company so I can still access the original DB which my PP pics currently reside in.

Would I need to start from scratch? How should I tackle this?

Are you just changing the domain name or moving to a new host which will require you to move files to a new location?

If all you are doing is switching the domain name, all your files and databases can be left as is and all you will need to do is update the link within the options pane of your admin panel to reflect the new domain name change.
