No Addons Anymore after Upgrading

Hi Folks,

got some problem with my upgradet pixelpost installation.

I don't see any addons in my admin-panel anymore, it's just empty as if I had no addons in the folder, you can see just the admin menu.

What went wrong?

When viewing your addons page, add &errors to the end of the url in your address bar.

The url should look something like:
http://www.example.com/(photoblog_foldername)/admin/index.php?view=addons&errors

Look for any Fatal or Parse Errors and report back.

I think I should delte this files when I'm at home, i don't need it anymore.

Yes, if you do not use this addon anymore, remove it and your problems will go away. If you do need it, there is an updated version know to work with Pixelpost v1.7

I'm having the same problem...No addons showing on the addon page.

If I delete the _defensio folder from the addon directory all addons show without a problem. However, I am unable to upload new images when the _defensio directory is deleted. Upload seems to work fine with _defensio directory installed. But I can't see any addons.

There are no akismet addons in the directory besides the _akismet directory itself (I have tried deleting this as well).

I upgraded from 1.5 and I have also tried deleting all addons and adding back just the defaults from the 1.7.1 install.

No errors show with /admin/index.php?view=addons&errors

Anybody find a solution to this problem?

I'm finding the same issue - I used to have all sorts of addons in there before 1.7.1 but after the Addons admin page loaded with nothing on it but the main navigation I decided to can the lot. I binned the entire Addons folder and have uploaded the default 1.7.1 folder in its place.

Still nothing. I get the following with &errors:

and I've tried all the suggestions in this alternate thread (http://www.pixelpost.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7721&highlight=addons+visible).

Any ideas? My comments table is fast filling up with junk now I have no Akismet running! Help, drowning in crap comments! :D

The problem is with the admin_ping addon. You either have conflicting addons or the admin ping addon is being included twice for some reason.

Try removing this addon.

Unbelieveable - it was working fine and now they've all disappeared again....I'm cursed.

This time however, nothing shows using either &errors or &errorsall.

Not a good sign. Any thoughts? I was halfway through perfecting Andreas' easyMap addon!

Have you removed admin_akismet_comment.php from the root of Addons?

Fixed my issue by the way - simply removed the Addons folder completely and reinserted the one that came with 1.7.1 - you can insert customised addons afterwards. It's always a good trick to try.

Actually, admin addon was normal yesterday. But today, they all gone suddenly. Then I delete all these addons, the remaining addons show up again. After all, I try to upload the deleted ones and the admin addon page remains ok but still have these errors.

I don't know why the admin addon page goes empty today suddenly and am afraid it will happen again.

remarks: my pixelpost is brand new installed, not an upgrade one.

Funny, I see people just dropping their questions, completely ignore our comments, don't respond to PM so the issue remains unsolved.

Dennis, I have fix it ! :)

I have deleted everything, except the images and thumbnails....I have made a backup of the database... then I have made a clean install and restored the old database.... now it's working fine....I see the Addon page in the admin panel.... :)

Now I'm searching how to make 2 installations in only one.... sorry for my english :)
