After upgrading to Pixelpost 1.7 the Crop Image Tool for generating thumbnails is not working. Images don't appear in the "admin > images > edit post > crop image tool" (seems like there is a wrong path or something) and so there can't be any selection. ("The selection has to be completely on the image.")

Thanx for your help and keep up the good work on Pixelpost!

I'm having the problem too. It seems that 1.7 gets the image path wrong sometimes (sets it to the local path on the server and not the one seen from a client, e.g. "www.mysite.com/home/user/public_html/images" instead of "www.mysite.com/images"). It was causing problems on the RSS feed as well.

please confirm that the configured image path in Admin Options is set to "../images"

Arf, this is such a simple fix, I should have thought of it myself :)

Thanks.

I seem to have the same problem. I have updated to 1.7.1.
The image is uploaded but not the thumbnail.

I have tried both "../images" and "../images/" when I have "../images" I can't even upload a image. When I have "../images/" I can upload image but the thumbnail isn't created.

Any Ideas?

Edit:
I think I found the problem... the thumbnail folder had changed to not writable!

what does the thumbnails path say?
It should be in the same way than the images path

Hi, It works now..
I have "../thumbnails/" and "../images/"

I forgot that when I updates to 1.7.1 I didn't merge/replace existing folders I choosed replace. So the thumbnail folders previous settings (CHMOD writable) was deleted.

So I hade to change the settings for the folder again.
