Unknown column 'alt_headline' in 'field list'

I have tried to upgrade to 1.7.1 but just get that message: Unknown column 'alt_headline' in 'field list'

The admin side works, but there are no images there. Does anybody have any ideas?

Okay, I managed to sort it out by manually adding the fields to pixelpost_pixelpost, but surely that should have been done with the script.

You are right, it should have been. What version were you upgrading from?

sometimes there is something like a "server hickup" during the table creation which may lead to an incomplete upgrade. Perhaps it was that?
