Hi All,
I recently converted from a MT blog to PP1.7.1 which is used as a day-to-day photoblog i.e. photos from our daily life to share with each other.
Though PP is a single user platform, both my hubby & I would be able to post images to PP using pop3post addon by raminia. E.g. I take photos on my Blackberry & send as an email attachment. Works perfectly.
I used Custom Fields addon by Klimin Andrew to create only 1 custom field:
ID Name = Posted by
Default value = Jenny, Chern Yi
This works fine when I post New Images using admin interface and the custom field displays perfectly on my post:
31-Jan-2008 17:06:21 • 0 Comments • Category: [Family] • [custom field]Posted by: [Jenny][end of custom field]
Now, my question is - I would like to insert a new field/function in pop3post to recognize the sender's email address and correspond it to the default value. E.g.
If sender email = jenny@example.com, <CUSTOM_FIELD_VALUE_ID=1> = Jenny.
If sender email = chernyi@example.com, <CUSTOM_FIELD_VALUE_ID=1> = Chern Yi.
