permalinks / clean url's

Is there any addon for permalinks for pixelpost 1.7.1

Instead of:
http://domain.com/index.php?showimage=48

I want:
http://domain.com/index.php/image-title/

Is it possible?

Geo's "clean urls" is for 1.6 or lower and i don't think his addon is what I want.

Out of the box... No.

But with some hacking, yes it is possible.
In fact, I will be updating my Post Slug Addon to v1.7.1 soon, which does this very thing.

With clean urls, pp will become some perfect photoblog software!

While we're at wishful things, I might add, that I'd love to have the 'posted date' in the url. Just as many do have on their WordPress blogs.
