I posted this awhile ago, but didn't get it resolved.
When I go into Options and try to modify my subtitle, or any part of the Options and hit Update, I get this error message.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

Have you tried doing this while using another browser, like Firefox? If so, do you have the same thing happen?

If you have .htaccess and IE6, try and delete any custom error pages you might have in htaccess. Had same problem a while ago.

where do the double slashes in your Link come from? Is it a copy and paste error or does it look like this in your Admin General Information page?

Contact your hoster. It is a hosting problem.

Using Firefox doesn't work. It sends me to a Unix website. I'll try contacting my host.

Does anyone have other suggestions?

Kristen -

First, what did your webhost say when you asked them about this issue?

Second, did you try the solution suggested by xact:

If you have .htaccess and IE6, try and delete any custom error pages you might have in htaccess. Had same problem a while ago.

Also, did you ask your webhost about the double-slashes in your url?

I've been told the application isn't installed properly so I can either reinstall the program or work with a developer who can help me find where there is a misconfiguration.
If I reinstall the program will I lose all of my work to date?

As for the other: I'm not sure if I have IE6. I was told the .htaccess is fully editable by my user and there are no custom error pages defined except the 500 Internal Server Error, which doesn't seem to be my admin problem.

please try to find out where the double slash in your URL comes from. Did you write it like that in Admin Options?

Another thing I saw is that you have a full flash gallery in the root of http://kristenritchie.com
Perhaps this gallery interacts with Pixelpost? Uses similar file or folder names?

I would suggest to move the whole Pixelpost installation into a subfolder called pixelpost or whatever (change the URL in Admin Options to http://kristenritchie.com/pixelpost/ first)
