Is anyone out there?
I have just spent most of the day trying to install pixel post and while the installation was successful I realise I have made a big boo boo that now prevents me from even logging into my administration panel. I forgot to change folder name to something simple and left a space in the folder name between the '1' and the 'F' (see below) and it has automatically added '%20' but now I can't acess anything.

Should I delete everything including my database and re-install pixelpost?
Any advice would be much appreciated because this is my first time at trying to do anything on my website and I am very confused as to how to fix this?
Thanks,
Shelby

what happens if you change the folder name via FTP to simple "pixelpost" so that the address says http://domainname.com/kirsten/pixelpost/admin/index.php afterwards?
If you can't login by that it would be the easiest to empty the database and remove the includes/pixelpost.php file and start the install assistent again.

Dear Austriaka,
Thanks so much for your reply. I have done as you said and just completed a new install so it now looks like this...
http://domainname.com/kirsten/gallery/admin/index.php
However, I still can't log in to the admin page. Do you have any suggestions?
I would really appreciate your help to know if this is a pixel post issue or an issue with my webhoster. If it is my hoster, what specific questions can I ask them?
Thanks a million.

It's possible that your host doesn't have sessions configured properly. Did you try checkmarking the box next to "Log me on automatically each visit" before hitting the Login button? If not, give that a try and see if it makes a difference.

did you note the admin login when entering in the install process? Or let it send you per mail?
Please check the login for misspelling and uppercase/lowercase issues, I can imagine no reason why it should not work.
The only idea is the other way round than dhdesign:
Did you check the "auto-login" at your first attempt?
Go and delete all your cookies of your page and try again.
If nothing helps, you can try to receive a new password by email, following the link of "forgotten password".
For more help you could send me the link to your blog via private mail (2 AT kg3 DOT de), together with the (hopefully correct) login data

Hi,
Thanks both of you for your help. I deleted my cookies and had no luck. So I went and checked the log in automatically box and I got in. Am so happy I can now get started on a gallery. Thanks so much for all your help.

Shelby, you might want to contact your hoster company as this is probably a session error.
