Start page: 2 different pictures

Hi,

is it possible to have two different pictures at my pp-index-page?
on the left side there should always be the latest image posted in category 1 and next to it the latest image, that was posted in category 2.

i currently just can't find a template tag to do so.

Pixelpost is designed for showing one photo per page, it is a photoblog and not a gallery

well, wordpress is designed to be a weblog and you can do nearly anything with it.

so it's truly impossible?

Nothing is impossible. You'll need to create an addon to do this as one has not been created yet.
