Can i use the exif reader with my Konika Minola A2??
If not, is there any other solutions to automically read the exif properties of my images??
thanks

If your Konica supports any official standard of storing EXIF data in image files it should work properly.

I think you mix the directions 8)
your camera, if it's a digital one, produces files, in JPG-format
these files contain some EXIF-information
which EXIF-information is there depends on the producer of the camera
which EXIF-information is there can be checked by using a program which can read EXIF-information in graphic files
you can test it with IRFANVIEW http://www.irfanview.com
open the JPG-file in IRFANVIEW, click on the button [i] or "information" and choose EXIF-information and you will see if there is some EXIF-data
if there is, these info can be shown in your PixelPost-Photoblog as well, if the template integrates the EXIF-TAGs
is this what you wanted to know?
Any digital camera will almost positively have EXIF data. You need to be careful which programs you edit your photos in though since some will remove the EXIF data because they do not understand it.

firstable thanks for the replies....
I do know that my Minolta's RAW file save the EXIF information.
My my doubt was if the Pixelpost was able to read it from a JPG made from one of those RAWs... maybe is a silly question but i say this cause i didnt saw the Konima-Minolta file inside the "exifer" folder. When i saw all this canon, nikon, fiju and so.... i though Minolta wasnt supported yet.
thanks

try one of your jpg photos with the demo that Blinking has provided for version 1.4 and see how exif info is displayed there.
read about demo: http://pixelpost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4892#4892

I've tested with my pics and some of them works. Others do not.
But its enought for me. Seems its a problem of what soft did i use for the retouching.
thanks

I.e. when you use Photoshop for photos you'll lose EXIF data.
Better is to use ImageReady which have poor but still support for EXIF.
IrfanView have full support for writing on HDD remaked photos with EXIF.

IrfanView have full support for writing on HDD remaked photos with EXIF.I use photoshop with both RAW and JPEG images and don't lose the EXIF data (although it does add extra tags). I think you do lose data if you select Save for web... though. You should just resize and Save As... then select JPG if it tries to switch to PSD.
@commando: True - I was saving for the web.
I didn't try in your way but it sounds nice :)

Yes, think your're right. The problem shows up when the "save for web" PS's option is used. Otherwise EXIF information works fine with PS.
