Probably I am missing something obvious but ...
when I upload an image, it gets automagically put in the appropriate folder on my web host's server. If I did that manually, I'd have to ftp it, and supply a username and password. Obviously this doesn't happen when using Pixelpost.
So my question is ... what playes the role of this ftp process? At what point is an upload authenticated? (and as a corollary ... is there a security issue?)
As I said - I'm sure the answer is blindingly obvious, but for now I don't see it ...
