PP not working after upgrade. How to return to previous version (1.6)?

After trying to upgrade my photoblog from 1.6 to 1.7 I received a databse error (#1) even though I followed the upgrade as best as I could.

I have a copy of all the previous files, including the SQL database (* go into your MySQL Administration, locate your Pixelpost tables and find the button "export". ). However, even though I have removed the new version and uploaded the old files, but there are no pictures showing anymore! Everything else works, but the images refuse to show themselves. All the image files are uploaded to their previous locations and the SQL database has been returned.

If someone is willing to help me fix my photoblog I'm willing to give admin rights to whoever knows how. My e-mail is pepsiat@hotmail.com.

database error #1 means your Pixelpost Credentials were not correct. Edit the information in the pixelpost.php file located in your includes folder.

I put it back how it was in 1.6 and deleted database. How can I use this export sql file which I did like in upgrade.txt file sentence said" * go into your MySQL Administration, locate your Pixelpost tables and find the button "export". ?
