Hi, I am not a new user to pixelpost. Ive used it since v. 1.3 on my site Felloweskimo.net/photo, however now I am undertaking a new task and branching out. I created a new domain name in which I am going to do some more professional event photography and I would like to use pixelpost as my platform for displaying and selling images. I know pixelpost is capable of doing it.

What I would like to be able to do is to be able to upload images (say 100), tag them with a certain event so that they are grouped together by category, and have them displayed on my site. Then I want people who come to my site to be able to purchase said images via paypal. There are already addons created for pixelpost and paypal. The main thing is that they can be grouped together, like by wedding name or by girl scout troop number or whatever, and then sold.

Not too difficult. I do not need hosting. I have the domain. I just need help setting it all up coding wise. I suck at php. Html/css I can handle. Any takers willing to help me? Make me a offer via PM.

PixelPost can do this, but there are other applications (Coppermine, Gallery2) that can do this much better and with much less work than it would take to achieve the same thing in PixelPost.

Well, Ive already started trying to do this project myself and running into problems already...PP has locked me out of admin. Its not accepting my user name or password. And when I try to get a new password, it says it does not recognize the username as the admin. I just installed 1.7 on my new website. *sighs*

I cleared my cache, cookies and whatnot...still nothing. Checked the 'remember me' box, nothing. Locked me out!

If you request the new user name and password with the correct credentials your password will get reset and there's no way to recover that unless you're getting email from PixelPost. If you have access to the database, via phpMyAdmin for example, you can see the admin user name and reset the password.

If you want help with that send me a PM.

No charge for helping reset your password.
