Commenting Broken - Token is off????

So all of a sudden my commenting broke, but I was never using the Token feature. Aside from that, my template already has the <TOKEN> tag between the form tags. Can anyone look at this and see the problem? I've been trying to figure it out and it's killing me!

By the way, I get this error which I looked for in the code and found it as related to the Token feature.

"Not Found
The comment could not be accepted because it got flagged as SPAM by our anti-SPAM measures. (ERR: 07).

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

You said you were never using the Token feature, but then said your template already has the TOKEN tag in it...

Have you tried removing the TOKEN tag from your template?

Great idea, but that didn't work for me. I did remove the <TOKEN> tag though...

Now it's saying ERR: 01

Err 01 is displayed because the tokens don't match. I have to look up Err 7 but I think it is related to the email test. You have to provide a real mail address OR leave it empty.

Interesting... How can I make the Token's match? I didn't change any of this stuff when it broke, it just stopped working.

you obviously have the token enabled. When you not use the <TOKEN> tag they won't match.

If you want the tokens to match, you have to put the <TOKEN> tag back in the comment form in your template, and enable the token in your PP admin section.

This is a little winded so bare with me....

Mine suddenly stopped working as well. I hadn't modified a single thing besides uploading photos via admin.

I'm getting the same exact error besides (ERR: 06)

I've got nothing to do with tokens and to be honest I'm not even sure what they are?


As I was typing this message I wanted to look back to see when the last comment was. It was on a different photo so I just tried a test comment just for fun and it worked!

Actually the comments work on all photos besides my most recent one.

When I think back to when I uploaded it something went glitchy. I sometimes upload photos after processing without any commentary and simply upload it via "post one day after last post" and come back to it later.

When I did go back to add the commentary and change the date I thought I had lost the photo. After editing the content I had forgot to save it and re-cropped the photo and saved that part. Maybe that caused the glitch?


To make a long story short. I just deleted the entry and re-uploaded the image and info. Works fine now.

Does anybody have any ideas to why this happened?
