You have to define the matching codepage/charset in HTML.
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> should do it, check this (http://www.unics.uni-hannover.de/nhtcapri/multilingual1.html) page.

For the multilingual blog check the documentation (http://www.pixelpost.org/docs/GettingStarted/AlternativeLanguage?userlang=en). You have to set up your template files in different languages and rename them as documented.

Hello,

I have a question. If you input a comment to describe your photo, in French i.e. ans also in English.
So we have two pages, so we are ok, but the comment is stored in SQL database, no?

Where are stored the comments? In two fields ?

TIA

Xavier

Dexy, I really wonder why your question should be so important, cause it has nothing to do with the thread-openers topic ;). And yes, it's needless to say that the comments are stored in the database. Fields are alt_headline and alt_body in the table pixelpost_pixelpost (if you didn't alter the prefix).

My opinion: if you are unable to discover this by yourself, you should leave the database alone ;)

Btw. your answer "yes" is not correct, because pixelpost can "only" handle 2 different languages at a time actually, afaik. So it's useless to make 4 different templates, if only two are supported. This means that if someone needs more than two languages, a second installation with a different database (or an additional prefix) is required.

Uwe

You are not very diplomate, my dear!

Please keep it nice and tight.

Pixelpost can handle 1000 languages. Even more. In respect to the description and title it can handle only two, that is correct.

But if you don't use the description and the title, then you can use infinite number of languages.

P.S. But I think that my question about the stored records was not out of place:-)
