Some questions, comment function, about page, link page...

I am very new to this, please excuse me if my questions are stupid. I wanted to know, does the basic pixelpost software has the following features, or do I have to work weeks to get these features working?

is it possible to switch off the comment function?

is there a "link" page in the basic software?

is there an "about" page in the basic software?

Well link and about pages can be added by adding:

about_template.html
link_template.html

to your template folder, and then linking to them by directing the links to: index.php?x=about and index.php?x=link, that should work.

Comments can also be switched off in the admin panel:
GLOBAL COMMENT SETTINGS
Default action for comments: Disable commenting

I wanted to have 4 thumbs in one row, I also placed a 4 in the admin tool "THUMBNAILROW" but it shows 5 thumbs, the idea is to have two pages with 12 pictures.
I am using the default template "horizon".

and

same thing with the comment function, I marked "disable commenting" but the comment function is still there.
