Upload api addon?

Hi.
Does an upload api or xml-rpc interface exits?
I love using f-spot on linux and i'd really like to have an export function. Actually I could try to do the f-spot part, but i don't know if an upload api for pp already exists.

I found the lightroom export addon but wasn't much explicative. :/
