I want to make a blog and photoblog within one system. Pixelpost is great but its missing a cms or blog function. I think WP can match photos and cms together but with less photo functions. Please tell me your are thinking about it - thanks !

Well, both PP & WP are CMS'. And I use both on a regular basis, depending on what particular site needs to do. If I want to setup a text-blog, or even a simple website, Wordpress is THE way to go. However, for my photoblog, I use Pixelpost because it does one thing, photoblogs, and it does it quite well. And true, you can hack WP and get it to be a rather nice photoblog, but I didn't want to spend the time and effort to hack something together when Pixelpost already did what I need.

So in the end, it's really up to you, and the requirements you need. I've seen a few people use WP for the blog portion of their site, and by using the same template design, bring PP right in without the user even knowing they've switched from a WP page to a PP page. I've also seen people configure and get WP to do it all, which works too, but it's not as simple or convenient as PP, from what i've seen.

Hopefully that helps you in your decision. :)

I also use both PixelPost for my photoblog and WordPress for my word blog. For me the decision was more about having the right tool for the job, than having one tool for all jobs.

hi realting to the topic..
Are there any existing themes which are available for both wordpress & pixelpost ??
So that they can be easily tried ?

That could easily increase adaption of pixelpost !!
