EXIF Does not work at all, help please

The EXIF add on my site does not seem to work at all.

When i click on EXIF update button, it says "Updated exif from 0 images."

It never worked for me before. I just upgraded from v1.60 to v1.71.

Could someone please give me a pointer on how to identify the problem and fix it?

Pointing out the obvious: do the images have any EXIF information in them?

Yes, I checked a few recent photos, they all show the EXIF when I view them in faststone viewer.

What component could be missing that results in the EXIF does not work at all? Please give me a hint. Thanks!

have you enabled exif support in the adminpanel? DO you use the correct tags? Have you tried removing all the exif from the database and repopulate it again through the addon?

EXIF under ADDONS was ON.

I tried REMOVE EXIF, and then pressed UPDATE EXIF, and it shows:

"Updated exif from 223 images."

However, when I view my photos, none of has EXIF information when clicking the IMAGE INFO link.

Silly me. Now it is solved.

Besides ENABLE EXIF under ADDONS, I also need to go to OPTION -> GENERAL, and choose YES to the following:

"Should Pixelpost enable Exif feature on the frontpage? "

I am very happy now.
