completely blank page

Hi
I have successfully upgraded my home/dev version of PP to version 1.4 and now i'm in the process of updating my live version.

I've made all the changes, and transfered all the files over. I successfully updated the database, and can log in and out of the ADMIN section and see everything. The problem comes when I try to view the site....I get a completely blank page. It's as if the index.php file isn't reading the template properly...

any ideas?

OK, once again I am a victim of my own stupidity. The simple problem was that I neglected to transfer over the /includes/exifer1_5 directory and it's contents....

nothing to see here....move along....

My idea was to find out whether the language file was missing...
a blank page always can be a signal that one part is missing...

I finally had the good sense to look in the php error log, and it pointed me in the right direction.

I must admit, it was a bit scary, seeing a completely blank page, with no errors or warnings.

Now, the site is up and running smoothly on pp1.4....

perhaps there should be an error to display this problem.

there is error display for missing language file and template files already in v1.4 but no warning signal for exifer
