Image Comments Number tag not working

Before I upgraded to 1.71 the tag <IMAGE_COMMENTS_NUMBER> worked but no longer. I have checked the code and the tag is still there but not working.

Any suggestions

You are quite right. I think I phrased my question incorrectly. What I should have asked was why did the tag apparently disappear when I upgraded. I assumed the upgrade would not alter pages.

I have now replaced the Image page with the backup file and it is working ok.

Sometimes the template files get modified to use new tags and remove old/existing ones. Next time you upgrade you'll be safe to use your old template files unless otherwise stated.
