Hello

I've had a good look around the forum for the answer to this but nothing quite fits.

I would like to add an extra page to my site that allows users to see:

1. The most popular images
2. The most commented images

I would like to have two simple columns. One column with, for example, half size images of the 'most popular' (maybe a list of 5 images) and another with
images of the 'most commented'.

I have seen something similar on Kevin Crafts site:

Major sites like the BBC and CNN use this approach. I think it adds a sense of community to a site when you can see what others are looking at.


Any thoughts?

There is an addon called Most Commented Images (http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/addons/most-commented-images/) that I use on the stats page on my photoblog (left column). The right column uses the Most Recent Comments addon (http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/addons/most-recent-comments/) to bring in the latest comments. Both addons work perfectly with PP 1.7.1.

There is also an addon called Meta Categories that sorts/shows the data in several different ways. Check out this thread (http://www.pixelpost.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3104&highlight=meta+categories+addon) for more information on that addon.
