I downloaded and FTP'd a number of addons last night. Put the php addon files in the addons folder and the includes into the include folder, went into my admin page (all other pages work) and click on addons and it is blank. I have installed addons before and never had an issue with 1.7.1 and here I am without an addons page.
could someone please help. I have confirmed that the directory still exists and I had not moved or altered any other files.

Remove the addon you installed. It seems to be incompatible or there is an issue with the code that is creating a blank addons page.

i'm assuming your addons worked fine before you "downloaded and FTP'd a number of addons last night"
So, remove the addons you installed last night and see if this restores access to your addons panel.
If it does, one of the addons you installed last night has caused a problem. therefor, install each addon one by one and once the addon page goes blank again, you'll know what addon caused the issue.

You might want to try to append &errorsall to your url. See what that turns up and post it here.

Hi,
I just installed a fresh version of pixelpost. if i click on addons the page is empty. well, not empty at all, in general the admin page is shown but there are no items shown - so respective i cannot activate or deactivate specific addons :( anybody has an idea what the problem could be? i am using the 1.7.1 version.

Add &errors to the end the URI within your browsers address bar. Make sure you are logged in as an administrator and viewing the addons page.
e.g. http://example.com/pixelpost/admin/index.php?view=addons&errors
Do any errors present themselves?

You obviously have searched the forums, but there is no need for leaving a message in each of the threads. Have you tried to suggestions in those threads you've found?
Ow wait, dwilkinsjr also said it again in this thread. If we'll get a penny for each time we have to say it, we'll be rich.
Sometimes this happens, most of the time it is an incompatible addon. Othertimes this happens with a default installation and somehow the addon page stays empty. This is something that puzzles us since we cannot recreate the problem.
We would like to investigate it in more detail but we need your credentials to your FTP to upload a modified version which logs certain things.

hello ! I have the same problem.... I have add &errors and it says:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mariucom/public_html/admin/view_addons.php on line 40
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/mariucom/public_html/admin/view_addons.php on line 70
Can you tell me what to do ? please use "normal" words, I'm not good with php this kind of stuff :)
