Spam Control -- not working

I just installed the Akismet thing, and maybe that will work but other methods are clearly not.

"Token" doesn't do anything.

Also, I have my Global Comment Settings set to sent comments to the moderation queue, but they go straight on the blog anyway. I did read one post that said you have to download an add-on, but it was an old thread and they were using a different version of pixelpost. Since it's in my menu, I'm assuming it should work without having to add anything else but who knows...it's not working.

If anyone could help me out that would be great, and I would sincerely appreciate it.

I forgot to mention that my blog is here (http://www.613photo.com) if it would help to look at the source. I think I put that "token" thing in the right place, for example...but I'm clueless.

And I should also say that I have eight comments in my moderation queue but nothing exists there, and when spammers or regular people comment it goes straight on the blog. It's weird.

The token is in the correct place within your comment form code. As long as you have token enabled within the spam settings pane it should help.

Thanks for taking a look. A couple of replies have been made and there wasn't a hit on my statcounter, but maybe the statcounter is wrong.

I've since enabled Akismet or whatever it's called and that's caught most everything since I've turned it on.

However, comments are still not going to the moderation queue. They go straight to the blog even though I have it set for them not to, so who knows. And the moderation queue says there are eight comments in it although when I try to look at them they're not there. I looked at another thread and it said to look at some file and delete them from it, but this file doesn't seem to exist in my version of PP.

So I don't know.

Yeah, they want you to look at the database. If you can live with it for a little while longer, i'll whip up an addon to cleanup the comments database of lingering comments for which no images exists anymore.
