hi all,
I was hoping someone could point me to an example of how to use or create a separate page just for an ongoing blog. Yes I know pixelpost is a photo blog but I am referring to a running blog page which would be a tab on my page to a separate page to read ongoing text posts. I don't want to clutter my current photo pages with ongoing text and like the clean appearance of only having the photos on the main page of the site. Has anyone incorporated Wordpress, Blogger or anything else to accomplish this?
any thoughts or example links would be appreciated.
thanks
Mike

Hi!
Think it is easier the other way. choose a blog and integrate pp in the blog. wordpress or something.
cheers, peter

thanks peter but I am really interested in seeing an example of someone doing this.
so what would I do with blogger for instance? How could I merely create a blog page with the pixelpost theme? I really would want the two to be separate but identical in respect to style, in some ways layout etc.
anyone know of any examples out there?
thanks

pepper is right, the other way around is easier. Check here for example (I developed this site a few years ago). Later on Pixelpost was integrated by using the same template files and modifying them to have Pixelpost tags instead of WordPress tags. Seamless integration!
WordPress:

Pixelpost:

ugh, not what I was hoping to hear, my issue is then having to reconfigure everything as far as file structure, templates, location of images etc.
If I were to start a blogger or wordpress blog for my site and then configure a second "tab" for pixelpost I wouldn't be able to simply point to my existing pixelpost page right? I liked the management tools, ease and addins for pixelpost where I would have to redo all of this on blogger or wordpress right?

So here's the skinny...
I have a pixelpost powered site active at the link below. I took the template and created an identical template in wordpress and linked the two together. I login to wordpress to update the blog, I login to pixelpost to update the photos. No one is the wiser. If you are interested in this, contact me and we can talk about setup.
