Yesterday I uprgraded from 1.7 to 1.7.1
Everything went fine. I also installed a new template. Dark Matter, a beautiful template.
I then made the alternative language files. For me this is English.
In the picture-page I see English in the menu and when I click it the english picture-page shows up.
Then I tried to sitch to the English about-page and suprisingly it all swiched back to my native language which is Dutch. This also happens when I try to switch to the English collection-page or to the home-page again.
I then switched back to my former template Suffocate and there I encountered the same problem.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong???

Your blog is not allowing the language cookie to be set. Does this happen with other themes or just dark matter?

When I changed it ack bto my former theme it happened also. I'm not sure when this occurred for the first time, because I didn't check for a while.

I used the <ALTERNATIVE_LANGUAGE> tag in the template files. Do you mean that I should try the <LANGUAGE=xx> tag instead?

I suggest you read the documentation.

I suggest you read the documentation.
That's the first thing I do before posting a question, but for me it's not always clear what the documentation means. So, while reading the documentation, I wasn't sure if it did answer my question. That's why I made the reply to your answer.
