custom frontpage (or archive page as frontpage)?

Hello PP'ers...

I am doing a bit of customization to my photoblog and I was wondering how I would go about setting up my archive page as the first page someone comes to when they come to my site?

I look at every index.php file in the PP default installation and they're all empty! What's up with that?

Thanks for the link... that's exactly what I was looking for! Do you know if there's a way to add additional pages to the theme?

Oh and I looked at those index.php files again and you're right, they're not empty... I must've been really tired when I was looking at them... or maybe looking at the wrong ones!
