How to instal GeoS addon properly?

Hi there,

I sent GeoS an pm asking few questions, but i have not heard back from him.

So i was hoping you wonderful people can help me out. Its quite simple.

How do i add it lol.

I have uploaded all the files and turned it on!! But im confused as to where to exactly add those tags he has suggested.

Eg) add extra variable to standard URL - category=CAT_ID.

Also how to add all those available tags. I dont know where exactly i should be pasting those tags in image and browse templates.

Also should i be closing those tags?

eg) <SC_IMAGE_PREVIOUS_ID> </SC_IMAGE_PREVIOUS_ID>

Im really sorry to sound like a noob here, but im totally confused.

Closing tags is not necessary. Just place the tags where you would like the content to appear.

For his addons he has excellent documentation.

Just been experimenting, but it didnt work as i thought.. I think coz of this:

To do so you need to add extra variable to standard URL - category=CAT_ID.
I.e. URL should look like http://piotrgalas.com/index.php?showimage=1000&category=10 - this will give you possibility to watch only images from caterogy with ID = 10.

How do i add this bit in??

=> siddr20 : I'm in the same problem as you, where to put the tag ? did you find the solution ? I'm searching about it, i want to integrate with dark matter template. I've seen lot of photoblog using dark matter and GEOS but can not find how to do it ????
