a few questions about the stats

I have seen that in the table pixelpost_visitors I have the bots:
ie: Yahoo! Slurp, Yanga WorldSearch Bot, Yanga WorldSearch Bot ...

I want to know if in the statistic advanced_stat.php counts also the bots and other automated software that crawl my site.

I am using different software for my stats (analytics, webalyzer, advanced_stat - version 1.0)

month october 2008:
according advanced_stat I had: Number visitors this month: 5420
according webalyzer I had: 1250 visitors
according analytics I had: 168 Visits

I think that in the advanced_stat are counted too many visitors

and another question: are the visitors the referrer? because as referrer they may be bots and other programs that crawl the site.

a last question: the table pixelpost_visitors is 5.7 MiB, there are 181 pages and 30 rows on 1 page (181 x 30 = 5430). when the bot visit a page, I see 1 row for every page visited by the bot. I think that the stat of advanced_stat.php is not really.

Perhaps you want to try the Image Stats Addon (http://www.pixelpost.org/extend/addons/image-statistics/) which will give you detailed statistics for the single images visited. There you can add crawler agents to count them separately.
The built-in stats of Pixelpost doesn't care about crawlers or double visitors, it just counts page views.

I have disabled the addon. thank you for your proposal, I have seen the addon but I don't want to add new fields to the db. I have other stats tools and I will use them.

I hope that the table pixelpost_visitors will decrease in the next month from the 5.7 MiB

... and also the tag <IMAGE_COUNTER_VIEWS> counts the crawlers?

In the admin panel I have disabled the addon Advanced stats (advanced_stat - version 1.0) but if I look with phpmyadmin the table pixelpost_visitors I see that all the visitors are still counted. How can I stop these counter?
