No text... just pics and thumbs with a popup for image Title, Date and EXIF.

Clean and to the point.
A special thanks to bretzelman for the inspiration and head start.
Now all I need to do is work on my photo skills :!:

I like the layout, except that the hover over the actual picture seems to me to defeat the purpose. If want to see the picture and the information, I need to keep moving the mouse. there's plenty of room down the sides for the hovers, isn't there?
As for the photo skills, forget it. That crane shot is superb.

i'm very impressed. this is the first pixelpost site i've seen with such an original layout.
i bet that all took a fair bit of time.

yeah I can see how some might not like the IMAGE INFO pop-up so i moved it up to the menu so it doesn't break the image up as much. I'm definitely going for the super simply clean look so I wasn't into putting ANY info ANYWHERE on the page, not even the title.
I'm not content on where it pops up yet so I'm sure it'll move around a little. But thanks for the suggestion and kudos.

Its a very nice template. The hovering and simplicity of the layout is amazing. When is it published? I can't wait.

Thanks everyone. Because I spent so much time developing my own look and feel, I haven't quite determined whether or not I am going to put in the extra time to clean it up and make all the files "template" ready. We'll see. If not for anything, it's a great example of what can be done with pixelpost.
Oh, BTW - I will be adding comments, but it will all be pop-ups in keeping with the clean concept.

lovely design! it will be available for download?
Very nice design, but:
- where are commens?
- archive (browse) should be more structurable (by categories, months)

I'm totally into the super simply clean look... i will add commenting eventually via a pop-up (resized window) although I haven't had much luck with getting people to leave comments and on the browse thing... right now I don't have many photos so to add a pulldown would be clutter... I'll probably add that when the browse (archive) page gets too big.

Personally, though, I don't see the point in having thumbnails showing. Most people, like myself until recently, don't really know how they work -- and they definately slow down the load time on new pictures.
Also, no comments...?
Really, really nice.

Stunning, by far the best template i have seen :D How did you create footer.png ? I really like the curvy effect.
Thanks
