I was trying to install the "email add on" where people who comment must leave their email address and you get it sent to you in the email.
I backed up my existing index.php and tried to set up the add on, but with no luck - so when I tried to return the old index.php, it had gone...I dont know what's happened, but thats not the point...
Now my blog's comment box wont show comments or function correctly and the main page has text about making a comment at the top...

which version of pixelpost you are using?

this is integrated inside v.1.4.x and there is no need to hack.
If you use v1.3 please upgrade since there is a policy to not support solved issues of previous versions.
