Page-by-page archive addon not working

hi, i've switched this addon 'on' but for some reason the 'maximum number of thumbnails per page' doesn't seem to work no matter what number i input! i've added the relevant tags in the browse_template (<BROWSE_CATEGORIES_PAGED>, <THUMBNAILS_WHOLE_PAGED>, ARCHIVE_PAGES_NUM) and url shows http://www.anushe.com/index.php?x=browse&pagenum=1m so somethings working, but keeps showing all my thumbnails.

Where is that 'm' coming from at the end of the url? it shouldn't be there.
