can I fix the image size shown in the mainpage?

I have tried uploading photos sized 1024x768 pixels and it is of course therefore too bigger when comparing to the comment layer. Is there anyway to fix up this point?

you have to edit the template file you wish to use and mod it out around what picture size you wish to use...

i dont see why you would want to use such large photos though...
