hi my friends

i dont know why pixelpost promote addon doesnt work in my page .

my photoblog adress is : http://www.sabzabi.com/pblog/index.php
now i want show random photos from my blog in first page of my site ( first page : http://wwww.sabzabi.com/index.php)
i do this :

1.add promote.php to my addons directory

2.add promote_template.html to my template directory

3. add this code to the first page :

now i see just a link in my first page !

sorry for this simple problem ! plz say to me what i do ?!

I'm getting a 404 error - did you remove the promote template?

No, i add promote_template.html to template directory whit no changes !

are all this work that i do correct ?

plz say to me ! i want show a random image of my gallery in forst page ! what i do ?!

I am still getting a 404 error and I don't see the promote_template.html file where it should be - http://sabzabi.com/Pblog/templates/switchy/promote_template.html

Ok the files are in the right place but you didn't need to do any editing to the promote_template.html file.

Just place this code on a page where you want your images to appear:

<script src="http://www.sabzabi.com/pblog/index.php?x=promote&type=latest&total=6&showtitle=yes"></script>

hi my friends !

i have a random photo in my first page and for fit this photo to my menu i set the thumbnail sizes to 250*225.

Now i want create a folder for promote with 250*225 thubmnails and dont change pixelpost thumbnail folder !

can i ?

in the other type i dont want change the archive(browse) thumbnail sizes !

You can create an addon that would create this image on upload and save it in another directory, similar to the way the thumbnails get generated.

Basically you can do almost anything with addons.
