Install Prep problem (777 and 755)

Install check says images and thumbnails is found but unwritable. I have used chmod to amend them both to 777 but still get the issue.

Any advice / pointers please

if you can upload there is no problem. The detection is not completely foolproof, since there are way to many variables we have to take into account.

how do i then proceed with the install as it does not seem to want to go on because of the error?
