install ends in a loop ... can´t log in as admin

server config:
Apache/1.3.27
PHP Version 4.3.10
MySQL 3.23.49a-max

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

installed pp 1.4.1 without any failure message , but when i try to login as admin i come again to a bit different looking istallation ....

if i push upgrade i get

table pixelpost_version created...
table pixelpost_catassoc created...

Error: Duplicate column name 'timezone'

and this goes in a loop again and again ....

anybody any ideas?

you need to update your mySQL version to at least 3.23.58.
