Can't upload pictures

I just installed pixelpost and it's working fine-but when I upload images I don't get a confirmation and it shows I have 0 images in the database, even when I upload them through SQL. What do I do?

We have a nice admin interface with an option to upload images. Are you using that?

I've tried through the pixelpost interface and SQL and nothing shows up. Any ideas why??
