cant upload pics to delicious template

hi there.

i have recently created a photo blog using the delicious template.

I can load some images but not others.

whent he error occcurs - the admin panel just hangs, the broswer says 'done' and only the admin tabs show.

please help.

vertical pictures will not load. as will some other images.

the kit i am using is canon 400D and nikon D40.

i am also using picassa to resize the pics.
