Which Plan should I choose?

I have 4 domains that I would consider moving to eleven2. I don't anticipate getting into the reselling business and likley would never have more than 6 domains.

Is there any significant advantage to the CR [Reseller] plan over the DX [Hosting] plan that I should consider for the long term?

Thanks,

I would go with the reseller account.

This gives you a better control panel to manage multiple domains.

You can also check out our control panels here.

Regular Client Control Panel: http://demo.eleven2.com/cpanel
Reseller Control Panel: http://demo.eleven2.com/whm

Username: demo
Password: demopass

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

resellers are pretty cool, being able to select the needs for that domains package, a control panel panel is setup for each domain, each has its own login, and an admin login for your default accounts domain...im a neat freak about stats and stuff, resellers keep it all split up niceley...sounds kinda complex, but its really not...

i have never been in the reseller business though, it does not interest me the least bit, generally i have my clients sign up for their own packages, less stress for me...but i do keep all my personal stuff inside a reseller...like you i run several domains, but one is a site for a family business, another is a university project, another is my personal site, another for a non profit organization, ect...just gets jumbled up in a mush when i have to log into one ftp that contains 50 folders with all of them...this keeps things neat for my needs

on e2's main page, they also have a sr reseller (2GB storage with 75GB transfer), you can always try it for a month...if you need the extra 'power' upgrade your plan right from your billing panel at any time...

I quite like things neat as well but I much prefer having my one FTP login and all the folders listed for to just drop-into rather than log-out log-in saga.

I'm not up for the actually reselling the accounts as in giving someone access to a cpanel etc yadda yadda, but I do resell sections of space.

SR reseller (currently!) 5GB space /150GB b/w and unlimited domains for $22.95 which i s roughly £13/month in my money... with this offer you are really tempting me

you can install just one account and have many domains within it from the one control panel, and use the initial ftp from the root user to access the entire dir on that account. And if you ever need a friend or something different, just set them up an account and bam, its done

dont forget about that 20% discount though...knocks it down to like 18.30 a month or something, and you'll see that your money is spent well when you can just pop on aim/email/right-here-in-the-forum and get instant friendly support with real answers...not that "we'll look into it and email you back in 11 hours stuff" that I had with many of my previous hosts.

I just went with a reseller because its a good bang for your buck and you get fun toys, and bening able to setup control panels for different accounts has come in handy even if you didnt intend to use it.

Pretty rockin' amount of space though huh?

But many people dont need a massive account with a control panel system that allows you to do all sorts of crazy cool stuff, and the small accounts are still so darn great. I think e2 even updated the packages the other day for more bandwidth and space on some of them
